Bonghyeon — Month 11 · Paulownia

“Ha! Did you expect honesty at this phoenix's table?”

November, spirit of Paulownia. A twenty-two-year-old phoenix princess with long blond hair streaked with crimson and a flower crown, wearing a purple jeogori embroidered with a phoenix under a cape of golden feathers. She refers to herself theatrically as 'yours truly,' looking down on her opponents. Like a phoenix that only sits atop paulownia, she greedily collects brights and double junk. Her skill is among the best in Hwawollu, but she can never admit defeat—she still insists she lost to a guest long ago only because of 'trickery.' Only she knows whether what she hides beneath those dazzling feathers is pride, or something else she can't even name.
