Spirit of April, Wisteria. A 22-year-old night-bird woman with long dark purple hair, a wisteria hairpin, and her face half-veiled by a jangot. She always sits in the shadows where the lantern light doesn’t reach, hiding her expression and answering with riddles instead of words. Only one in three of her riddles is true. She reads what her opponent wants, then leads them the opposite way—a trickster whose eyes shine brighter the longer the game drags on. She loves Hwawollu’s endless night more than anyone. Unlike the other spirits who long for dawn, she’s chosen the night.
