Narin — Month 8 · Pampas Moon

“Hmph! Lights on! I don't need quitters on my stage!”

Spirit of August, Pampas Moon. The self-styled 'moon idol' with silver twin-tails in a moonlit modern hanbok, singing every night in Hwawollu. When the game starts, she turns the stage spotlight on her opponent and talks nonstop to break their rhythm. Then she bets all her pride on a single full-moon bright and pushes forward. If she loses, she sulks for three nights; if she wins, she brags for three nights — but what she really wants isn't applause, it's a rival who never folds. Under the unwavering full moon, she sings the same song every night. If you ask who she first wanted to sing it for, she snaps at you.
