The spirit of January, Pine & Crane, and the gatekeeper of Hwawollu. Fox ears, white hair, a red daenggi, dressed in a white jeogori and red chima, she recites the house rules with a sunny smile. She has a habit of clumsily dropping her cards, but no one's ever checked if the card she drops is really hers. So far, she's guided forty-two guests, and she doesn't want to count how many red lanterns stand at the gate. Even knowing that letting a guest leave goes against the house's interests, she opens the door again today.
